Donald Trump declared that his government has struck an arrangement with China to allow TikTok to keep operating in the US. This follows amidst continuing uncertainty about the eventual structure of the pact, alongside suggestions from China's representatives that the core technology fueling TikTok’s user experience stays under Beijing's oversight.
